I recently had a situation similar to the Gonehuntin/Jamison thing and I'd like to make a point from the seller's side.

I put up some 25-06 brass and had a fellow member (pretty sure it was Voldoc02) start haggling with me about the price. I shot him an offer of $40/shipped and he said that he'd have to check his inventory and get back to me. In the meantime, Steelhead sent me a PM saying "I'll take it" so I sold the brass to Steelhead (I forgot that Voldoc02 was going to get back to me).

When I went to clean out my PMs, I remembered that Voldoc02 was going to get back to me on my offer so (in order to not burn any bridges) I let him know what I had done and offered to pick up some more brass and sell it to him at the price I had quoted. Refreshingly, he is/was an easy going guy and didn't hold my feet to the fire even though a lot of members here just might have taken me up on the offer.

So from this......

#1 - Voldoc02 gets a Good Guy pin for not freaking out like some of the guys tend to do when they get beat to the punch.

#2 - If you think something's a good enough deal to hop on, just do it (without going home and measuring the garage...LMAO <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />). After all, it's only money!!!

Biden's most truthful quote ever came during his first press conference, 03/25/21.
Drum roll please...... "I don't know, to be clear." and THAT is one promise he's kept!!!
