I may have forgotten to mention I missed more than a few that far as well.
Me not a great wind doper, that's why I started cheating and shooting a 160 gr. 7 mm bullets at them.
We hunted farm fields and would set up using the wind, so the yotes would come out on the far side from us.
Good thing is that past 500 yds. they usually gave me a 2nd chance.
