I know quite few guys that work at Boeing. Some in IT, management and some on the line. Have not heard any positive pro union stories from any of them.

A contractor went to repair a machine in the plant. he arrived earlyin the morning. Union contract stipulated he had to be accompanied by a union member at all times. He met met by a union member in the morning. Told by union member that union member had his break and contractor to wait. 2 hours later union member returns and said he has lunch. So contractor had to waito again to do repair. mind you all this time the line is down so no work for many union people in the factory. Two hours later union guy returns from lunch accompanies contractor to machine. 15 min later told stop work as union member's break. he stops working and waits. An hour later union member returns and says come back next day to finish 30 min repair.

Why is Boeing leaving Washington state again?
