I know quite few guys that work at Boeing. Some in IT, management and some on the line. Have not heard any positive pro union stories from any of them.
My favorite uncle worked as a Boeing Union employee in production, flight test and as a field rep. He was a life-long loyal member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers and didn't learn a thing when he helped that union destroy his prior 25 year employer Eastern Airlines. I liked him a lot and as he was dying of self-inflicted lung cancer he finally acknowledged that the union he had supported for 40 years was a near-sighted self-serving organization that was not out to help employees and was simply working to perpetuate the class warfare of the left for their own gain.
