savage 340 in 30-30. that particular gun just rang my bell every time i shot it. if i emptied a mag on the bench my nose would be bleeding when done. i always wondered if some how the bore was undersized. i have had probably 10 of the same model and chambering since and none came close to that one. traded it for a lyman tumbler. still have the tumbler 30 years later. second was a sxs 12 with 3inch mag loads i inadvertently touched off both BBL's at the same time.
