Yes we will start it mid next week. I was actually waiting to start it so we could finish the stock below. This is our new MCS-EH8. We had originally intended to roll it out at the same time as our new EH6, but with all the new items for the Shot Show, we did not make it.

The average weight of this stock will be 22 to 24 ounces with a 1/2" pad and is about 2.75" shorter than the EH6. It is designed for a rem seven or 700 s/a with up to a Bart#2b with about a 1.4" long shank. The max LOP with a 1" pad is 14.5". It will take a BDL bottom metal but is really designed for a ADL. Very round contoured with traditional straight grip, very little palm swell and a high cheek to get you head up for a larger objective scope. The barreled action in the stock is the new defiance Seven, with a bart #2B.

After listening to some of the post on this thread after we posted the new EH6, I think that it is going to fill some of the needs for the guys that where looking for even a small and shorter stock with the more traditional grip.
