We have had a pretty awesome day today. Started out with both of us getting a nice bird together then we drove to one of our favorite trout streams. Turkeys and trout....not a bad way to spend the day! I'm about worn out but my son is still in the stream.....to be young again.
My son camped with my parents at the trout stream and finished his weekend with another stringer on Sun. He said to us on the ride home "it's going to be hard to top this weekend isn't it." I had to agree. I reminded him that we were shooting prairie dogs the week before, some might say we are spoiling him, but it's a good kind of spoiled IMO.
