I did it in 2002 in south Africa, he used a laser to cauterize one end. and I was awake and aware with a little bit of valium. No recovery time at all. Ready to function normally the same day and no pain whatsoever. I cannot imagine not doing this.
It was nothing, removing a bad sliver, or walking with a blistered heel is 100 times worse! Just do it, it's a no brainer!
