Old thread gets a second breath...

RE: Feeding and extracting issues. Mark Penrod built me a Rem 700 with a Lilja barrel in a 35 Rem variation 6 or 7 years ago. It has been my primary IN deer rifle and had plenty of range time for load development throughout the years. My experience has been closer to Dinny than some of the others in the older portion of the post. Not saying anybody is wrong...just saying that I've never had problems with feeding or extraction.

If I wasn't constrained by IN regulation for public land rifles and wanted a 35 caliber rifle, then it would be a 35 Whelen or 358 win. Actually, I would get out one of the 9.3x57 Husqvarna's I picked up...they are all about the same...
