Many years ago, I had an apprentice who barreled a Mannlicher Carcano sporter to 35 Remington as a project rifle. He was just able to make the Carcano magazine handle the 35 and it worked out surprisingly well. He was able to load 200's to near 2400 fps and the rifle shot well. Certainly one of a kind. GD
