Yup, and its now a 358 winchester. The only person who thought they could fix it was Malm, and he passed away before he took it out of the shipping container. Bob Green polished the feed ramp, but couldnt get it to work with round nose bullets. Pointed bullets would work 7 out of 10. Personally, I think Bob went light on polishing, and coulda made that part work. When I talked to Stick via PM, we got the mag box sorted, just needed bent a little. The one thing that really made me decide to rechamber to 358 was extraction. By all means the SOB should have worked. Its like you said Scott, its not that big of difference in bolt face. But I guess it was enough, because every other round wouldnt extract. I shot that 10 pt in 2011 and thank the Lord the first shot was true cause it didnt extract and when I cleared the chamber the 2nd nosed into the ramp. Good luck to whoever tries it. Its a great round for a light mountain rifle. Just know you may have problems with feeding and extraction.
