Well, is the 30 $ price point for a handle, or for a 5th? Therein would lie worlds of difference.... Far as lower end Bourbons go, Turkey 101 iWorks for me and hits the price point I believe. Somewhere very close to 30. For a half gallon I believe. Maybe a bit more. Below that, Early Times isn’t terrible. That’s as low as I’ll go.
I stock Early Times on the regular just for mixing. $15.99 for a jug is solid. When I get home from the hospital I do 2-3 fingers of a sipping whiskey and then make a cocktail with ET.
