It’s the folks that haven’t made up their minds yet that debates matter the most too.
I’d say that the sides have already been picked and the focus of the effort is keeping people from staying home on election day. Trump didn’t pick up any votes, but he allowed himself to be the vicarious voice of his angry base.
Biden didn’t lose any votes, but his base is not voting for him. They’re voting against Trump.
