Trump was deliberately trying to get Biden to crack & lose his cool..................Joe didn't exactly perform very well, but Trump was not successful in getting him to overload either.
Joe was pretty doped up.

Yep. Expectations were unreasonably high of Trump that he'd have Biden getting carried out on a stretcher by the end of the night. In the end though, he couldn't get him to totally melt down. That's the only reason people feel a bit disappointed with Trump's performance.
