Sorry to hear that George. It won't make it easier, but you are not alone. My father died last May in palliative care. No one was allowed to see him until a day or so before the end. My step mother was the only one allowed in, the day before his passing. He had been there for a few months and the best we could manage was talking on the phone.

COVID protocols affect more than just those afflicted by it.

WRT rural properties, we have seen people who were locked down in the GTA drive north and spread COVID for hundreds of kilometers. This was happening long before the latest lockdown. Millions of people packed into a small space were part of the problem.
