Yep. And the death rates are going to take off once we reopen again. The vaccines aren't 100% effective and there are people who are just more vulnerable than others, and the shutdowns have, including the economic damage, only delayed the inevitable.
Given the idiotic governments, and the low infection rates, I think there may be a risk of re-closures in QLD and WA after the pending re-opening. At least now Jeanette is in the process of fucking off from the CHO position, so maybe there is chance for some common sense moving forward here in QLD.
I reckon NSW will open and stay open but then again Gladys is gone so that might cloud things up a bit.
