There has never been any proof that Iraq ever had nuclear weapons. The Iraqi WMDs were chemical, mostly Sarin nerve gas, but the specter of nuclear weapons in the hands of Saddam Hussein was enough of a catalyst for George2 to go to war in Iraq and upset the balance of power in the Middle East.
