Alwaysoutdoors: Yes - probably more than a hundred times now.
One "changing" of a tire happened many years ago in an October blizzard on the State Highway 12 between Miles City and Baker, Montana right at the Powder River.
I was Hunting Antelope by myself and had harvested a Buck Antelope that morning before the BLIZZARD started and I was intent on getting to the "meat locker" in Miles City before they closed.
Anyway I had the VarmintMobile as far off onto the shoulder as I could get it with my emergency flashers on and was toiling away on the heavy 8 lug 3/4 ton wheels.
9 (nine!) vehicles passed me in the hour it took to get that flat tire changed - 7 (seven!) of those drivers stopped (in a blizzard!) to offer assistance to me!
That little incident was one of the reasons I decided to move to Montana.
I try to keep "good" tires on all my vehicles these days (in my old age).
Hold into the wind
