My brother and I hit upon a real good leftover meal.
Take the leftover cornbread dressing and wet it well w chicken stock where it’s easy to spread.
Cut and shred the dark turkey meat that gomers don’t eat.
We take Cornhusks and wet them for tamales. When they are rehydrated enough we smear w dressing slurry and then add a good amount of turkey. Roll them like any other tamale.
Usually makes about three dozen. Stand and steam them in a tamale cooker for about an hour.
When the dressing begins to separate from the husks they’re good to go.
Remove and shuck them and eat w whatever sauce you prefer. Stunning. No bs.

America, Our Country and we’re taking it back.
