This line is exactly what separates the USA from Europe and Oceania. Your Constitution does not grant you the right to self defense, Ours at this point still does. Our Government takes a strong stand against those rights , but when push comes to shove they back off, because no individual government official is willing to bet his life on pushing just a wee too far. In the next generation or so That will probably change as the Millenials and Genz can not wait to be socialist. Thankfully if I am alive I will be too senile to care........
Your government is likely to disaprove of any armed uprising against it, deem it unlawful and take whatever measures needed in order to put it down.
And again, gun control is being implemented in your nation and states through incremental changes right now.
