The gun show in Sioux Falls last week end had many Savage 99’s. I saw three 308’s - all over $1,000. A 358 was on a table at over $2,000.
All three of the 308’s did not have a brass cartridge counter.
That would make the 308’s either 99 C or 99 E. If there was no removable clip, they were 99E’s.
