280- We have the same Bodum press, but the caraf is faitly fragile (or I'm a klutz) and have broken 4 of them (IIRC). I now use THIS ONE from REI. It's lexan-virtually unbreakable (I could if I tried) and has an insulating jacket. It's only $20!
