Initiating that investigation would be a good start. But not admitting nothing is going to be done, ever. Not good enough.

You expect narcs to tell people when they investigate stuff?
Of course, then the police dept. can run around 'investigating' every call to the fullest extent allowed by the law, surveillance, tails, the whole 9 yards. Then when there is no police available or the dept needs triple the funds to operate who will be the first to bitch?
