This morning we took a little ride for coyotes and jacks.. Spotted one sitting he look like it was about 100 yards to the jack, thought of using the .22-250, but decided the Smith .44 would be more fun. Had it loaded with 44 spl. cases, 8 grain of Unique and a 210 gr. Rem. HP. First two shots were side buy side, but low.. Held up a bit of front sight and tried again..It looked close but the jack ran about 30 yards and stopped.. I squeezed off one more and to my surprise, and I am sure his, drilled him though the chest for and instant kill.. Kate brought him back.. Paced it off at 136 steps.. One of my best shots..
