Glad this thread was resurrected. I’ve become a fan of the 270wsm. In light rifles, I find it’s about as powerful as I can go and still expect to see bullet impact. The 140g accubonds have been great performers. I’m shooting a T3x using RL26. This rifle apparently has a tight chamber as it hits pressure earlier than I expected. It routinely shoots into .5” at 3180fps. I suspect I could tease a little more velocity but not sure it’s worth the effort. As as been my experience with a couple other Tikkas, I found this accuracy node with minimal effort. My present favorite western deer rifles (300wby and 7mmSTW) have some real competition.
