Interesting. From looking at pictures it appears to have a fair amount of drop at the comb.
I wouldn't have thought it would work so well from the prone.
The Compact works well for me prone, but I find the Forbes stock has become my favorite. It just fits me really well. Have you ever tried one? If so, how would you compare it to the Manners?
I would like to get the Forbes inletted for 700's and 70's with perhaps just a bit wider forend...
I've shot that stock and I also own two Hunters EDGE stocks. The SL fit me better when I shot it prone than the EDGE stock. It's also slightly wider on the bottom. I like it a lot. My next build is going into a Manners SL.
