I own a few Edge stocks. For a lightweight hunting rifle the Hunter's Edge is hard to beat for weight, handling and stiffness. My only complaint is that the forearm is a bit narrow.

I own a few Manner's as well, though I have not run the SL. My only complaint has been lack of good grip texture or checkering. Workmanship is on par with McM.

True - the Edge weighs a few ounces less, but it gets there with a 1/2" pad and very narrow forearm. Add the pad and wider forearm and your back to 26oz.

My solution was to order a Classic Edge. Only drawback I can see so far is there is miminmal thickness to run Badger or similar DBM.
