I was using H4831sc for starters, as it is Noslers listed accuracy powder with 140-142 gr bullets, I was getting great results with it but decided to try some H-1000 on a whim after seeing data for in on Hodgdon's site and having some one hand. H-1000 has done better during all my tests against 45.o and 45.5 gr of H-4831sc at 200 and 300 yds. It's 2-3 grains slower and, no, I have not run either over the chronograph yet. They should both do slightly over 2,700 fps by my reckoning.
