At first blush, the Kimber shoots!

However, all my loads are likely .5 - 1.0 gr. over where I should be... no doubt mostly due to the excellent, but tight, Kimber chamber and the excellent, but thick, Lapua brass.

140's will go 2,750 no problem (shot 139 Scenars at 2,800 but am going to back off that). Load was 44.5 H4350.

120 NBT's went 2,970 and around 3/4" but I'll likely back it off to 2,950-ish. Still, extraction was easy, but it seems a bit much for a 22" bbl. Load was 46.0 H4350.

129 SST's went 2,860 and 3/4". Load was 45.0 H4350.

I'm going to LIKE this rifle! Perfect compliment would be the 84L Montana in 30-06 or the M70 300 WSM I already have.
