I use a 130 gr. Berger and reloder 17, start at 42.0 grs and work up from there. Remington brass and federal 210 primers, jammed this load shoots .3" at 100yds and handles my family freezer quotas . This gun was built for the prairie and is kinda heavy and kinda long ,14.5 lbs, and 30" barrel. But kicks like a sporter weight 22-250 and the wife can shoot it as well as I. Living in North Central Wyoming, the temperature swings a bit. 105 in the summer ,-10 in winter at times. When I adjust my drop charts to ambient conditions they are spot on. The velocity from the long barrel and reloder 17 is great, I won't quote because everyone will call B.S. , but its a good safe load in MY GUN. has taken some antelope and a Hog. Bang ,flop results every time.
