I have had those thoughts, but not all the way down to 1. Cannot argue with the logic. I have attempted to pare down before, but usually wind up buying the same again, and of course at a higher price ! So now, I just try, not to purchase other ones, even the "what a great deal" ones. I would be very restless with only 1 center-fire, even though certainly could be done and has merit. There barest personal minimum would be 3 different cartridges by tough choice. But two, if 1 was a 338 Win and the other a 223.

Anyone else here ever have the same thought?
