This is much bigger than just some players kneeling for the National Anthem. But I'm sure everybody realizes that.
Yes it is.
And the entire premise of playing the Anthem before game time is so that all opposing fans and teams can stand together and collectively state "Regardless of how badly I want you to die today, we are all still Americans." And still shake hands at the end of the game, as Americans.
To kneel or sit during the Anthem implies you do not want to be a part of this great country. To which I reply, MOVE TO FUGKING CANADUH!
The next step will be to stop play our Anthem altogether. Which is exactly what the left wants.
