Don't need mags ,but I've got 300 H&H and 375 H&H. Because I wanted them. 375 has never been in the field, but causes me to dream of far away places. 300 has taken several Mule Deer and is actually pleasant to shoot. My friends call it the
30 06 Long Rifle.When I was young and tough I lugged a 338 Win around after deer and elk, nice round, it destroyed less meat than the 270 Win. Gone now, too heavy for and old guy.
