A 243 is kinda like a magnum...being overbore and all.
And always figured I’d get a 45-70 someday. Kind of magnum-ish.
My only magnum is a non-magnum
9.3x62.......and with 286 grn full presure loads it's plenty when it comes to recoil
It's no fun to shoot for long sessions
