I like magnums,they have their place and most of my rifles are magnums.These days I'm happy shooting one of my 30-06's.I guess it's because it's nearly perfect for most of my hunting.I recently got into 30-06's only about eight years ago after over 50yrs of hunting.Wish I'd found it sooner,might have a few less magnums.
