A small 0-80 in. lb. beam type torque wrench can really be useful here. They are less than $25 on Amazon, Home Depot, etc. I have a Wheeler "clicker" too, but I trust the beam a bit more, not to mention it is easy to torque a group of screws in sequence by 1/4, 1/2, etc to full value. Usually, you want to go from 1/2 full all the way to full. The beam also lets you see how you are approaching full value in a way that a clicker won't allow. Yes, these are likely "off shore junk", but the thing about a beam wrench is it is pretty easy to make an accurate one. Not to mention they are easy to check if you know how, and have an accurate postal scale.
