I suspect some people have a hard time believing he's really holds the absurd beliefs he writes about on The Fire. His status as a Young Earth Creationist doesn't make him all that special on The Fire, but he takes it to a whole new level thinking scientist are too stupid to know the difference between COVID-19 and the common cold virus.
Sniper, the part about believing scientist are too stupid to know the difference, the question isn't are they too stupid, the question is are they agenda driven to get more grant money. I believe the global warming scientist are! Why wouldn't these bureaucrat Doctors be the same?
The docs are not subject to the “publish or perish” pressure of global warming academics.
IMO, the docs are fully focused of patient care and good outcomes.

Yes. They are trying to save lives. They are not politicians nor economists. Trump has the tough job trying to find middle ground - save as many lives as possible, while keeping the country afloat.
There is so much that we don’t know about C19, and likely even more that we don’t know that we don’t know. It will be years before it’s known if all this was necessary in an epidemiological sense.
