I have 3 black friends, all of whom served with me in the military. We correspond all the time. I hold no punches and they know where I stand on things. They are not Uncle Toms. They are not victims and they will never allow themselves to be victims. And they have my complete respect for that. I don't really care what people look like. They can be white, black, brown, green, who cares. If they are stand up people, they take care of themselves, they take control of their own lives, they take ownership of their mistake, and they appreciate the opportunities this country offers, they are okay with me.
