pneumonia was often times called the old man's deliverer.

would humans be better off without medicine?

what about me as an individual human?

is what's best for individuals the same as best for the human races?

do witch doctors, medicine men, shamans and others really have a role to play?

It's not just about living longer but also living better - what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, or puts you in a wheelchair, or results in limb removal or other permanent disabilities and malaise.

Being a long living, healthy tax payer is good for the economy. Keeping us longer living and healthy is also good for the economy.
