None of you boomers remember that big ass corn-on-con holder prong they jabbed in your tricep when you were about 4 or 5 years old?

Did you die then?

Got my flu shot this week - still alive, so's the wife, we get one every year, one year I had two, 65 now and get the high-dose.....visited a cousin of the wife in CA, 6 years ago, that was suffering from shingles, on his head and into an eye - don't ever want that chitt, wife and I came home and got the shingles vaccine, still alive.... 6 years now.

Never in the military but dad was, went to England - lots of shots, went to Guam - lots of shots, used a syringe with a needle that looked like a tent peg....

Polio, whooping cough, tetanus, diphtheria not seen much these days........... probably from excess hand-washing!

You may have gotten the “d” shingles vaccine. There is a new and improved vaccine available for we older folk.
