For hunting the 225 SGK is indeed a big killer, better BC and SD than the 200s, anything like Elk or Bear, I might swap with a Partition in same...225.

Anyone who has burned 357 handgun bullets out of say a 350 RM or similar on milk jugs at 200 yds know how it makes you smile.

Quite versatile, and underutilized. The RM and 358 WCF are my fave......nothing wrong with a Whelen.

Nate, the guys that had deer run with 243s and 6.5s......likely did not plug vitals with the proper bullet. If an animal is lost, one never knows the path and penetration of a bullet, so it's pure speculation and often the cartridge gets blamed...........hunters NEVER mess up a shot as we know...or fail to choose an appropriate bullet.

All bullets are not created equal...........nor shooters skill.
