That dairy farm schit was hard work.
But planting and rounding up some soybeans twice a year?
Pffffttt. Get real. That's a part time job.
I suppose thats why virtually all Farmers have off farm jobs.

The vast majority of farmers rely on off farm income.
Farming crops in the Louisiana sugar bowl delta is busy business with the exception of sugar cane . They get some slack time but roll 24/7 during cutting and grinding seasons,
Yeah..and they get 7 cuttings of alfalfa in Arizona.
The point..as always...remains.
Our area typically can depend on getting 4 cuttings of hay per year. With all of the rain we’ve had this spring some cattlemen have already gotten 2 cuttings. Not alfalfa, though. Very little of that hereabouts.
