I suppose thats why virtually all Farmers have off farm jobs.


They're teachers, state legislators, mayor, county-commissioner, or whatever other side-hustle can cover health insurance.

The closest thing to "double-cropping" happening here is running in root-veggies on no-till ground post-harvest then turning cattle loose on it over the winter.
