I'd imagine most attorneys would advise the same, but it's extremely dependent on the Court/Judge as well as the officers involved.
I had a Judge for a long time that, once you established yourself in his Court, saw refusals basically as a 'dodge'. In his Court, attorneys pled a lot of refusals they probably wouldn't have elsewhere.
