Had a 4-door 73 dart that looked like a car an old lady would drive, bench seat column shift. Ran 12.08 on the motor and 11.20s with the NOS. It did not sound stock though, lol. It was a drag car under the skin. I drove it around town on 6-inch slicks and ran 4.88 gears in it.

Never saw a Dart with a big block in it but plenty with small blocks. Arlington Texas back in the 70's had a heck of a hotrod scene going on.
Thays a 440 stroked out to 498 ci.

Had a friend that built a 440 that came out of a boat, equipped with dual 440's. He got it done but he had to find out that one of the motors turned the opposite direction, it was funny when he found out after spending a grand fooling with it. That one went back on the shelf. The other he had bored and stroked, built to crazy and put in a 68 Charger. Awesome car.
