Did you gents know there is a free software out there that allows for a very accurate measuring of group sizes? It's called OnTarget. You scan your target, name it and then follow the fairly easy-to-use directions to get group sizes right down to .001" levels. You can also take a picture of the group, save it and go from there. Most important thing is to scale the scan or photograph. This will make the circles the same size as the bullet holes. Here's an example of what I produced using the rifle described in my above post:

Note the average center-to-center distance is 0.200 inches from 100 yards. Not bad for a no-talent greenhorn. The longer the reference line, the more accurate the group size is calculated to be by the software. OnTarget ain't hard to use; just takes a bit of fooling with it to figger it out...
