University of Mississippi, graduated with a BA in Psychology of all things in '72. Got an NROTC scholarship my sophomore year and the next thing you know I spent 21 years as a Navy fighter pilot.
Psychology to a fighter pilot? Man! I thought all pilots were math/science guys...you must have had the science gene buried!
I'm decent in math but no expert and I like to show our flight students different ways they can use Trig in some situations. I've got them fooled 'cause most of them think I'm a math whiz...little do they know. Once in a while one of my students will ask what my major was and the look at me like "you must be kidding"! There are a few Liberal Arts types around; we have to balance out all engineers somehow!
NRA Life,Endowment,Patron or Benefactor since '72.
