I did enjoy my time there and liked the field of study and really liked Logan. But they were graduating far more foresters than could be decently employed. A friend who also graduated with a BS in Forestry in 1978 couldn't find work that paid a livable wage and went to a vocational school to become an electrical contractor.
Currently living in Boise which isn't a bad city as cities go, but I miss small town Fruitland on the ID-OR border where I lived for about 13 years.
Me as a Mountain Man forestry student somewhere north of Logan, UT, that's US89 down at the bottom of that mountain in the background.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!
