With ammo they like, I can get my Anschutz sporters to almost average .3" at 50 yards for five shots. Probably .75 ish @ 100y. Basically can do same with a CZ 17hmr. What this tells me is that my technique problem has something to do with recoil. Had a 280AI that could shoot .75ish with at 100. This was about an 8 lb gun with scope and all. Have two new 280AI's being built right now. They should both come in just under 7lbs with lightweight fill stocks and #3 barrels. One will be slightly heavier due to Bartlein's contour vs. Hart's. If I cannot shoot these new rifles, I am going back to duck hunting and fly fishing for my remaining winters.
