In my opinion the true test of a +++ hunter better than average is being able to take a mature buck consistantly year after year on public land and "managing" the does.....not slaughtering them for self gratis.
It obviously isn't the above OP "hunter"...........if that's what you call him.

killing a mature buck period on public land in the south is very hard to do it requires skill and discipline
btw i have never said I was a great hunter I am just in the woods all the time and have a good ability to kill deer with various loads (rifle and ml) and various weapons
hell this thread was before i killed a 180 inch deer which was dumb luck that it came in when it did
the deer was not baited however i am 100% for baiting where legal
